What is the 7 Peaks Soccer Training history?
In 2021, Dan Trosper created Peak Training Co. which was rebranded as 7Peaks Soccer Training as he became the sole proprietor in 2025. 7Peaks Soccer Training "PEAK" experienced change when a specific training model and dedicated curriculum was implemented 7 days a week over 10 weeks. The training model evolved into 5-10 minutes activation which included banded/dynamic warm up, 10-30 minutes of technical training without pressure, 10-30 minutes of technical training with pressure, 5-10 minutes of a core training which allows us time to stretch in-between repetitions to cool down. Our professional staff work with a purposeful plan each session that follows a 10 week revolving curriculum. Each trainer brings their own style utilized with our model and consistent feedback that demands more for each player to develop their technical skills. We provide a safe place for all players to TRAIN CONSISTENTLY EACH WEEK to explore their creativity on the ball, no matter the conflicts in your schedule.
What is the 7Peaks Soccer Training Philosophy?
We teach Total Football. Johan Cruyff (Dutch Godfather of "tika taka"), was the first coach to implement this idea at Barcelona from the first team all the way down to the youth academy in 1988. Total Football , requires high technical skill, spatial awareness, and fluid positional interchange. 7 Peaks focuses on precise ball control, dribbling skill, passing accuracy, the ability to execute a one-touch pass while playing in multiple positions. We teach technique and football intelligence over pure physicality. Once the ball is lost, a strong habit we enforce is also teaching the relentless pursuit of winning the ball back.
What are the Seven Peaks Soccer Training Methods?
Each small group training session consists of 4 sections while they are similar in structure, each session requires trainers to adapt to meet the needs of the group. Each 10-week course has a curriculum that we follow.
Activation: Part 1
5-10 minutes of a dynamic warm up that includes resistance bands, agility, balance, coordination, and motor skills.
Technical (Unopposed): Part 2
10-30 minutes of technique taught on the ball to be successful and build confidence.
Technical (Opposed): Part 3
10-30 minutes of pressure on the ball while working on technique taught within part 2. We emphasize solving problems in all positions.
Core/Strength: Part 4
5-10 minutes of core and strength work that is specific to the function of the game with a cool down.
